What's Trending - Chiropractors are finding success sharing 45-sec videos about Holiday Charities

Updated: Nov 26, 2019

'Tis the season for giving! Did you know that 30% of annual giving occurs in December? On top of that, 10% of giving happens in the last 3 days of the year! As tradition dictates, Americans are in the giving mood during December. For that reason, preparing your holiday drives at the end of November is the best way to make sure you’re ready to roll them out over December. We’ve taken the effort to make video templates for a few popular charities, including Toys for Tots and the Boys & Girls club. We’d encourage you to reach out to your patient base with a charity message of your choice, encouraging your patients to bring by an item or provide a donation to a charity that you care about.

Food Drive

Good morning, Dr. ______ here. We are excited to partner with the Children’s Restoration Network for our upcoming Thanksgiving Food Drive which kicks off in October and runs through November 16th. The Children’s Restoration Network’s goal is to provide a bountiful Thanksgiving dinner, with all of the trimmings, for thousands of children and mothers living in group homes and shelters right here in our community. Sadly, many of these women and children will be eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as their Thanksgiving dinner. But, with your help, we can change that. We are collecting non- perishable food items and gift cards to help the cause. Please see the lists below for items that are needed and bring the items with you to your next appointment. No donation is too small and every little bit helps. You can help us make a difference for someone in need. Thank you and see you soon!

Toys for Tots

Hello, Dr. ______ here at _______ Chiropractic. We are so excited to announce that we will be partnering with the United States Marine Corps this year as an official Local Toys for Tots drop site. Please help us give a Christmas to a local child in need. What can you do? Over the next month, when you come in for your adjustment, if you’d like to donate, we ask that you bring a new unwrapped toy with you. Leave it in our official collection box in the reception area and we’ll make sure the toys are delivered on time. Just a little gift can go a long way, and as the Toys for Tots program says, “you can make a difference!” Thank you in advance, and we’ll see you soon!

Boys & Girls Club

Hello it's Dr. ______________ here. We love being a ]part of the (INSERT COMMUNITY NAME) community. One of our partners in changing this community is the Boys and Girls Club of America. They do some amazing work over at their facility that truly has an enormous impact on youth in our community. As part of our partnership with them, we help sponsor boys and girls each year. Our goal is to sponsor 10 children this year. It only takes $100 per child to provide everything they could need at the Boys and Girls Club for the entire year. Please help us achieve our goal by donating any amount you choose. Every little bit helps. Thank you very much and we'll see you soon!

Diaper Drive

recording script

Hello it's Dr. ______________ here. September 24 through 28 is Diaper Need Awareness week. We are partnering with the Diaper Network to help provide diapers to a local diaper bank and other non profit organizations. The Diaper Network provides support to 200 plus diaper banks around the country. These local banks provide diapers to low income families so they can meet the basic needs of babies and families. Things you may not know are that diapers cannot be purchased with food stamps, and a lack of diapers keeps babies out of childcare, and can therefore keep a parent out of work. We are asking for your help in providing for our community. Please bring a pack of diapers, any size, with you to your next adjustment, and drop it in the box in our reception area. You can make a difference in our community. Thank you and see you soon!
